Nominated Senator Martha Wangari has reiterated the need to strike a
balance while filing interim officials for the Jubilee party to be
launched by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday.
Addressing a
press conference in Nakuru on Tuesday, Wangari who is also a member of
the Kiraitu Murungi led steering committee that oversaw formation of
the Jubilee party said all parties should be represented.
“We
are joining the Jubilee Party on a willing basis. No one is being
forced to move into the new party. Those parties that are joining are
willing to dissolve in uniting the Nation,”she said.
The merger ceremony will take place in Nairobi and is expected to cost Sh300 million.
