Koigi wa Wamwere decamps to Jubilee By Simon Ngure,

Chama cha Mwanachi party leader, Koigi wa Wamwere, has decamped to newly-formed Jubilee Party.
Koigi made the announcement at a press conference in Nakuru on Wednesday flanked by his supporters and the chairman of Nakuru County aspirant forum Dr Abdul Noor.

The party chair said that he had made the decision to move to Jubilee owing to their apparent policy of uniting the country, zero tolerance to tribalism and the zeal in the fight against corruption.

The former Subukia MP pointed out that after consulting widely with the chairman of Jubilee party steering committee Kiraitu Murungi, he realised that most of his ideologies are reflected in the party, noting that he would continue fighting for the rights of the less fortunate and the oppressed in the society.

On his part, Dr Noor called for the inclusion of Chama cha Mwananchi in the Jubilee Party by virtue of being a small party that also has elected leaders.

Former Nakuru Mayor Benson Wangai, who was among those who received Koigi, welcomed his entry into Jubilee Party.
