Mbugua is sabotaging war against alcohal - Mututho

The Chairman of the National Campaign Against Drug Abuse (NACADA) John Mututho has blamed Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua for allegedly sabotaging his efforts by issuing licenses to traders of illicit brews.
Mututho said Nakuru is still topping in deaths related to illicit brews because the government permits the illegal business.
The Chair said, drinking in Nakuru town takes place overnight because Mbugua has issued licenses to operate till 6:00am in the morning which is against the government policy.
Speaking to journalists in Molo town on Tuesday, he said the governor should not fault his officers for the rampant drinking and gambling craze saying the governor is supposed to issue a circular banning overnight 'madness'.
