EXPOSED: How Government Tried to Cover Up Poisonous Vaccine

A letter written by a law firm to the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) and the Ministry of Health has highlighted shocking details of how the Government tried to cover up the results of contaminated polio vaccine.
According to the missive undersigned by Gitobu Imanyara & Co advocates, the Health Ministry and the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) contracted the law firm's client, AgriQ Quest Laboratory Limited, to conduct tests on 56 samples of the vaccine.
However, when the laboratory delivered the findings which showed that the polio vaccine was contaminated, PPB reportedly instructed them to alter the results.
“Owing to the shocking findings of contamination of the vaccines, our client was orally advised to alter the report to indicate that they were safe to be administered. When he cited professionalism and the impact any alteration would have, they were informed that they would not be paid their fees unless they altered the said contents,” the letter read in part.
The Catholic Church had earlier cast doubt on the vaccine administered in April 2015 during a nationwide Polio Campaign, stating that it was impure; a claim the Ministry emphatically dismissed.
“The Ministry of Health wishes to assure all Kenyans that the vaccine being used during the polio vaccination is safe and effective,” Health Principal Secretary Khadijah Kassachoon was quoted by the Nation in a report on August 2, 2015.
After AgriQ Quest declined to alter the alarming results, the Pharmacy and Poisons Board stated that it would pay the Laboratory Sh600,000 yet the earlier agreement was Sh5.7 Million.
AgriQ Quest Laboratory indicated that besides suffering major losses following the refusal of the Government to pay for the services rendered, the company's publicity was also stained as it failed to pay its employees.
Lawyer Gitobu Imanyara told Kenyans.co.ke that the Catholic Church, which had jointly asked for the test with the Ministry, accepted the results and advised that the vaccination be stopped in its institution but the Government refused to accept.
On Monday, a catholic nun who is also the head teacher of St Anthony Academy in Nakuru was arrested for blocking health officers from immunising over 700 pupils against measles and rubella

DJDJ Crème de la Crème DEPORTED BY US OFFICIALS AFTER USING FAKE DOCUMENTS

US immigration officials have deported DJ Crème de la Crème to Kenya after being detained for 25 hours at the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport.
The DJ, whose official name is George Njuguna, was reportedly placed aboard an Emirates flight heading to Kenya via Dubai.
Reports indicate that DJ Crème told the immigration officials that he was visiting the US to spend time with his friend over the Memorial holiday - a day reserved to remember fallen US soldiers.
The DJ was, however, unaware that the officials knew the nature of his trip as he was scheduled to entertain Kenyans at different shows.
It is said that the officers even had his fliers and seemed to have been waiting for him when he arrived at DFW airport on Wednesday at 9.30am.
The entertainer had publicised the visit on social media with his postings revealing he was set to entertain Kenyans during the Memorial festivities.
Normally, such visits require one using a business visa and not tourist visa which the DJ travelled with.
Crème was deported after thorough questioning and reportedly informed his promoter on what had befallen him.
"Headed Home, but I'll make sure I tell you guyz about my Prison Break Stories when I Land," Creme confirmed the ordeal on his Instagram account.
"But everything happens for a reason and I know without a doubt that we shall party sometime soon," he concluded.

'Mpango wa kando' to blame for my hubby's death, says Subukia chief's wife

Joyce Wanjiku, the wife of the Subukia chief Joseph Waweru who committed suicide on Friday has now spoken out on what could have led her husband of 25 years to kill himself.
Wanjiku who addressed journalists on Friday said the Milimani assistant chief kept complaining about his girlfriend`s insatiable demand for money.
"He said the woman had demanded Sh6, 000, and when he failed to raise the money, the girlfriend confiscated his uniform and identification documents," she said.
It is alleged that the lady had threatened to reveal their affair to area assistant County Commissioner if he failed to raise the money.
The deceased Waweru, 51, later asked his wife to give him a pen and paper before asking his family members to leave the house.
She said when she returned, she found their door locked from the inside and made efforts to open it.
When she got in, she found her husband`s body dangling from the roof of their house in the bedroom.
Wanjiku said efforts to rescue the deceased from the trap of the woman had not borne fruits months before his death.
Subukia police boss Alex Nganga said the suicide note left behind by the administrator alluded to a simmering row with his brothers over a parcel of land, and warned the family against burying his body on his father’s land under a controversy.

Addressing the press after distributing sanitary towels to students at Nakuru West Secondary School in Kapkures on Friday, Karuri said the fund meant to benefit the girl child will be better handled by the women representatives across the country.
He said that the ministry of education has several programmes to take care of and procurement of the sanitary towels sometimes takes too long creating gaps in between the year.
